In one day Cholafied.com had gone viral spreading to over 160 countries. The site had half a million page views, 20,000 Tumblr followers, 90,000 reblogs, 60,000 Facebook shares, and the Twittersphere started using the word "cholafied". It was featured on news sites, gossip blogs, lifestyle blogs, and design blogs. Buzzfeed dubbed it “your new favorite Tumblr”. Celebrities started messaging the site asking to be cholafied. NBC did a news segment for their morning show, art galleries reached out to showcase the images, CNN asked for an interview, and even actress, Emma Stone mentioned the blog to Newsweek during an interview for Spiderman.
